Hi Rick!  I'm just a day behind you, I'm having my surgery on 09/24 with Dr. Duremedes in Princeton.  Congrats on your surgery and prayers for success for you! 

well guys its been awhile  since ive posted, but i had my appt with dr rossi's nutritioinist and i have an appt with my family dr next wed to start my 7 month diet and exercise plan. i dread it more than you know because i dont know what kind of plan she'll put me on and i know no more junk food or eating out for me since this is 99 percent of my diet since im on the go so much.  the exercise will be the harder part for me since if i do a lot of walking my hip and leg starts hurting. does anyone know of any exercises i can do to start out with, i have a gazelle but havent used it in several months due to lack of space in my apt.

Hi, Rick!  Congratulations in your decision for lap band surgery.  Dr. Shin is also my doctor.  I was banded on 3/30/09 and it was definitely the best thing I've ever done for myself.  Best of luck to you.  Keep us posted and if I can answer any questions for you don't hesitate to ask.  Hugs,

I had RNY 7/28/09 and am looking for a support group that is close to home.  My surgery was in MD @ SGAH and is almost an hour away.
