oh, I so understand that moody friend, I have one of those. She asks me all the time why I don't call her am I being stuck up. No I just don't want to hear her problems all the time..got my own.

        I havent had anyone tell me anything like that but.... I have known people that has lost alot of weight and it does seem like their personalities did change   one was so consumed with "herself" that i stopped talking to her all together    the last i saw her she had gained it back but I didnt talk to her enough to find out if she back to herself or not    I figure I have enough stress without trying to figre who she was   does that make sense?   I have alot of stuff going on  not that I thought I was to good for her or to busy  or that I dont need friends  just  having to worry about what mood she would be in  I dont want anyone to think I am a stuck up or anything

Did you ask just who would you be then??? You (we) are not our weight. 

But I do feel for the people around us that are trying to understand what we are doing, why, and how we will change. I can't believe that loosing weight won't change me some. In fact I hope it changes me for the better.

I am pre surgery and still dealing with family members that are not so supportive. I can deal with it so far. Usually just try to change the subject. I am an expert at dealing with my family.:)

Has anyone had this said to them? 

If you have had your surgery, how do you deal with people looking at you different? If you haven't had your surgery, how do you think you will deal with this when the time comes?
