HAPPY FIRST BAND DAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
30 pounds off, good for you. We always want more weight loss but look at it this way, it was about 1 year to put on 30 pounds so now you are just doing it all in reverse.
Walking oh what a joy.......I can't wait until I feel like walking all the time. I have started walking to work each day, walking to the store when picking up small items.
We have a small lake here in the town I live in, will enjoy walking around that. A couple of years ago I did the Charleston Distance Walk (not run....lol) the walk is a 5k. I was so proud of myself when I finished the race.
One of my goals will be to do that walk again, after that I will do it every year and encourage others to join me.
Have a great weekend

I understand about the staring    when I was small  I was afraid that people stared because I was so thin  and thought we  as a family didnt have enough to eat   we had a tough life  compared to some and easy compared to some   that is one of the head problems that caused me to over eat after we got married didnt know how to eat right or have any restrants
and  lapbanders has the gas troubles as well but not as bad or as often

I have several items I can't wait to happen to me personally when I have surgery.
Like never have to worry if I fly somewhere that I won't have to use the bathroom, because at this time I know I can't fit into an airplane bathroom. Fitting into any size chair, like in auditoriums and the ballparks. Go out for dinner and people not staring at me and what I am eating.

I am not having the lapband surgery, so I won't have to worry about the sweat odor. I will have to worry about the gas odor. That is what everyone complains about with the bypass surgery.

Moving past someone in a cramped isle and not rub agianst them. That will be added to my goals on my page I think.

Thanks for the heads up on sweat. I had no idea.

Don't worry to much about me. I like people who say what they think straight out. A slick talker who can put you in the ground without breaking their smile is who I avoid. I am almost unoffendable, and always look at the big picture when something comes up.

I know her heart was in the right place. She loves me and has been like a mother. I just thought there must be other stories of things we are asked to try before surgery that at the time we were floored about, but look back and laugh.

Thank Crystal
