A legislative bill to help those of us with medicaid and medicare and do not have diabetes??

I have contacted the senators and legislators and am working to get a bill put to the floor and for voting to get a rider or the rules changed for those of us without diabetes and other life threatening co-morbities to allow us to have the same chance as everyone else to get the surgery and use it as a tool to change the rest of our lives. IF anyone out there is on medicaid and would be willing to write a letter in support and sign a petition please email me or leave a comment. Thanks a bunch.

Leigh... I'm not on Medicaid, however I DO believe in your cause. Could people not on Medicaid help your cause. Afterall - I don't have to subscribe to a plan to support where my tax dollars go! Let me know what points you want me to make in my letter and I'll be happy to do so. Petition? No problem! I'll gladly sign! ---Barb A
