Locals?

I am looking for info on cost saving during my WLS journey. Hopefully, I have a near future date and want to plan my before and after surgery life. Anyone near RT 9 WV/VA line? I live 2 miles from that and 8 miles east of Charles Town, WV. Looking for possible carpool to future appts, also any tips on cheap places to stay and eat in Morgantown? My doctor is Dr. Goldman of Ruby Hospital.

The Rosenthal House is right at the hospital and is for family and patients to stay for donations only. When you make your pre surgery appointment, they will ask you if you want a referral. On the day before surgery when you arrive, go to the Rosenthal House. If they do not have room for you, they will give you a voucher to stay at one of the motels near the hospital. We stayed at the Best Western for the night before my surgery. The discounted rate was $35 per night. As far as restaurants are concerned, the hospital is surrounded by eating places of all different descriptions. Ruby also has a cafeteria that is not bad at all. Good Luck! Curt
