West Va !!! Need your help...

I am interested in building a vacation home in West VA... Needs to be not to far from the DC area... Has to have water and mountain/country views... I want an area that is not over populated and where I can build a nice log cabin on acreage ... Can you recommend some areas ?? VAL

try the glade springs/shady springs area in raleigh county....there is a lot of nice properties to build on out there

Check out Morgan Hampshire Counties in the eastern panhandle. Look for Romney and Berkeley Springs on a map. Move quickly because we are seeing land and houses going up drastically because ofr the interest in folks moving from Northern Virginia.

WARDENSVILLE, WV FOR SURE! National Forest, population around 5000. The largest business in town is Dollar General and that has been there less than a year. Highland Trace is the local realtor and great prices! Look for Hardy County WV and Gore. My husband swears by their fishing lakes. I plan to retire there. My husband would live there now if would let him. Good Luck!! Keep me posted.
