ASBS Walk in Barboursville, WV

On September 24th, the American Society for Bariatric Surgery Foundation will present the third annual nationwide Walk from Obesity. The goals of this fundraising event are to reduce disability, death and discrimination of people who are obese through education of the public and healthcare professionals regarding effective treatments. This year the St. Mary's Weight Loss Surgery Center will host the walk at the Barboursville Park from 10:00am till 1:pm. This event will include participants from throughout the tri-state area, and will be the only walk site in the state of West Virginia and the surrounding area.
