visiting wv
hey everyone! this is kinda off the subject of weight--well, ive lost 72 pounds and we want to come back to wv to go four wheeling. havent been since i had surgery. my last visit was on mothers day of this year. we camp at the "'top of the hill" and ride down to the wagon wheel and all around. we realy love it. i was just wondering if anyone knew if things had changed that much with all the flooding and storms and stuff? my father had a real bad atv accident in nc because of such ruff hills. wv wasnt all that bad. plus we want to let my youngest daughter bring her atv so she dont have to ride with her daddy. any info would be greatly appreciated.
come join us sometime on the nc board. its alot of us carolina people who come to wv.
thanks, tammy
Hi, Tammy
I live in Mercer County in West Virginia and think that a good place for you to go 4-wheeling is on the Hatfield-McCoy Trail. It will eventually be in 11 southern WV counties, but is right now concentrated mostly in the southwestern part of the state. You might want to visit www.trailsheaven.com to get more information. Have a good trip!

hey lisa, thanks so much for the info. the only thing about hatfield is the restictions. my 10 yo would not be able to ride there. thats why we ride the other places. we just love wv. i dont know how it is to live there, but it is so relaxing as far as atv riding. we sometimes stay in princeton, but its a good ride back to unload at the trail head. what about them stairsteps? havent done that one!
again thanks,
tammy
