I just wondered what type of vitamins everyone is taking post surgery. Dr Desvigne has a new scan in his office that tests what vitamins you need and I went in thinking I would score very high because I take my vitamins, etc regularly and I scored very! low.

Howdy from Texas, Carol!!!! Some of the physicians here are supporting the use of 2 chewable Flintstone vitamins a day, as a basic. They say they are the best absorbed that they have found, taste ok, and are very easy to chew and digest since they are made for children. My brother had his RNY 2 years ago and even though he can now eat small regular meals, he still takes his Flinstones every day. He's 48 years old and just started working as a flight attendant for Southwest airlines. He has more energy than some 20 year olds. I'm waiting for my surgery, but will follow this also and add some calcium for the old female bones. hahahah Hope this helps. Andrea
