Workshop at Magee's scheduled

I received a call from Dr. Schauer's office today. They have scheduled my workshop for June 8th. I cannot wait. I am flying on clouds now. I hope to have surgery maybe by the end of this year or first of next year. Kathy

I attended my workshop last October. I just finished all my pre op testing and now the nurse practioners will review it and it will go to the insurance co for approval, it may be another month or so, Then I will be scheduled my clinic and get a surgery date. I have a lot of comorbids and had to have a lot of preop testing. I hope to have surgery by the end of the summer. Good Luck! Barb

Dear Kathy, I am glad to know of someone else in WV who is Dr. Schauer's patient. My workshop was last year on June 10th. My insurance approval came about three weeks ago. I don't know the exact date of my surgery yet, only that it will be the second week in July. If you go to the suport group the first Wed. of the month. I am the woman with the bright blue 4 wheeled walker. Maybe I will see you there. Sister Jo Hall
