Just attended Dr. Stickler's Seminar in Charleston

Hello everyone! I just attended the bariatric seminar in Charleston that is for Dr. Stickler's patients. I had previously attended Dr. Shaurer's in Pittsburgh. I found Dr. Stickler's to be very educational. He and his guests spoke a lot about protein supplements and how benifical they are to good health after the surgery. There was also a speaker from the Southern West Virginia Bariatric Support group there. She had lap-rny surgery 13 months ago, she was very informative and also let people know about the support group meetings held twice a month in Charleston. I hope that everyone is doing well. Hi Michele, I had surgery on March10th with Lifequest. They are truly the best out there. You must be talking about one of main support group people. Yes she is wonderful. The best thing about lifequest is the support group we are very very active and our e groups and meeting are informative and friendly. I encuorage you to join the egroup online at Yahoo under "bariatric patients of southern west virginia". Dr.Stickler is very down to earth. You can talk to him and ask him all sorts of questions regarding your queries about surgery. He is so patient. His staff is truly wonderful. They are dedicated but the main thing is they are not fake about it. This is truly what they love to do and it shows! You are making a good decision.
