Getting some education :)

Hello everyone! I found out yesterday that my insurance carrier PEIA Acordia denied my surgery with Dr. Eid in Pittsburgh, PA due to the fact that he and UPMC isn't in their network. I hated that! I was so looking forward to having him as a surgeon, because of his special interests in patients with PCOS. Although I attended their educational workshop, I was able to get an appointment to attend Dr. Stickler's in Charleston on June 6, 2003. I am scheduled for my psychiatric evaluation on June 2nd (Wish me luck on that one)! LOL I am so anxious to get this ball finally rolling, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Michele, I want to see Dr.Schauer in the same group. I called my insurance BCBS, They couldn't find anyone board certified any closer so they decided to pay them as if they were in network. I think the board certified thing helped a lot.

Hi Michele, I also have PEIA. They approved me very fast. are you in Charleston? Dr Goldman is going to Morgantown the end of June. I really like him. good luck, Brenda
