My day has arrived!

My long awaited surgery day has arrived. It has been a long road of tests and people poking at my skin and brain to get to to this day. I never thought it would be here 6 months ago. This 6 months I have had since my first appointment with Dr Shin (a God send) went by so fast. It has prepared me for today. Also what has prepared me and helped me is coming on here and reading all the posts. I know that I don't post much but I come on here a lot and read all the experiences. Very inspirational.

So I have to be at the hospital at 10:30 am and my surgery is at 11:30. I am going to be at at CAMC Memorial division and staying overnight there.
 I will see you on the loser side of things! Keep a spot open for me on the bench!

Yea, Jana!!!  I'm so happy for you.  I'm sure your surgery is over with by now and you are doing beautifully!  Congratulations.  When you get to feeling better be sure to let us know how things went.  Hugs, hugs, - Pat
