Dr. Leonard Fichter

Hello All! Just wondering if any of you have any experience with Dr. Fichter. I found him on www.duodenalswitch.com  My main question is if he takes Medicaid.... Thanks in advance, Katrina :-)

Sorry this doesn't answer your question but I do think that Dr. Wheeler and his associates take Medicaid. They are at King's Daughter's Medical Center and I do know a few people that have went there... I cant' answer your question about medicaid... but Dr. Fichter did gall bladder surgery on my years ago... and he is awesome!  Just wanted you to know that I give him 2 thumbs up.  Did you call the office to see if they accepted Medicaid? Have you had success finding someone to start your journey with?

Sorry I am just now answering this. I just found this board. I'm not positive if he takes Medicaid (though I think he does). I do work in the hospital where he does surgeries (CAMC) and he has an incredible bedside manner and his patients love him. He was my grandfathers surgeon a few years ago and he loved him (and thats saying a lot that my grandfather liked a doctor). His looks can be deceiving but he is excellent at what he does and he will treat you with the respect you deserve!
