Dr. McNatt Formerly at WVU

My wife and i both had RNY in late 2005 with Dr. McNatt.  I have heard that he has left WVU.  Both my wife were very impressed and pleased with him as our physician.  Does anyone know where he went to and why he left? Thanks, Curt

I heard that he went to Duke University, but I don't know for sure.

I am a member of the surgical team at WVU.  Dr. McNatt and his family moved to a hospital in NC. His wife got a job offer down there they just couldn't pass up.  We miss him terribly and it's so good to hear you all sing his praises.  He is a very caring person and does really care about his patients.  We wish both of them every success in their new jobs. 

I am currently seeing Dr.McNatt in hopes of being approved for RNY he is now with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center here in Winston Salem NC. I just had my first visit with him last Monday..Dr. McNatt was very welcoming...which was great considering I was very nervous. I look forward to working with him to make my soon (I pray) to be surgery a success.
