Self Pay for WLS

Does anyone have any idea of the cost of WLS if paid for out of pocket? Has anyone had their surgery financed? Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Kim, You will find it varies greatly from surgeon to surgeon. The best thing to do would be to call around and ask their fees. I can highly recomend Dr. Wheeler at Kings Daughters in Ashland.  His office number is 606-329-2888. They have a great team there. His staff is great.  pan head

You might call his office and see when he is doing a seminar. If I am not mistaken he does them in Paintsville, Ky as well as Ashland and other places.   I looked on their website and at present there are none listed. Their regular support group meeting is the second Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm. Although I do not attend those regularly, they do have a big turn out.
