Tell me where in WV you are, 'cause I don't pay attention enough to look at everyone's info! FYI about me - I haven't had surgery yet, but I'm working on it! Unless I want to go to Huntington, which I don't (nothing against it, Charleston's just home for me) I only have two choices. I have time to decide completely, but I've got an idea. *shrug* Like I said, I have time, because I know I'm going to end up in a fight with insurance to get it approved, so we'll see.

hiya! RNY, my insurance won't cover anything else. i don't think i'm brave enough to try anything else, either. lol

I hear ya! Well i've been studying up on the lap band and had made up my mind, but after reading alot on the complications today i'm a little scared. Since my insurance won't cover I could end up in a life-long debt if i have problems down the road with erosions, slipping, or port problems. These seem to be minor to fix, but a whole heck of alot of money when you have to pay out of your pocket! So now i'm back to undecided on the procedure. It's really beginning to stress me out....i was looking so forward to a new outlook on life.

Hi Rachel. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday, but tonight my son is performing with the Boone County S.T.A.G.E. performers. It's a colaboration of a few skits and songs. They are serving desserts and coffee during the production. It doesn't start until 8:00 tonight. I haven't had my surgery either. I've been to the seminar in Charleston and I'm doing my 6 month Weight study now. I'm not real sure what I do next. How far are you into this procedure? Beth Madison, WV
