getting nervous

Well I have one more day then wls day!! I can say that I am not scared because I am right with the Lord and my life is in His hands so I am safe!! Although I am nervous!! I have had several surgeries and have never had any problems, I guess its just normal to be a little nervous!?! Dr. Shin is very nice and i feel so comfortable with him. Anyone with some comforting words would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Alison, You should worry if you were not nervous. Every thing will be fine. I am fourteen weeks out and have had a smooth ride. Do everything the Doctor says and I am sure you will have smooth sailing as well. After surgery was the roughest for me. My only advise is to use the pain meds and stay ahead of it. By doing this it allowed me to get up and walking about two hours after surgery and I kept walking every couple of hours or between naps. The nurses said I was going to wear a path in the halls. But I think it helped me alot. Best wishes. pan head
