Hello Everyone(RE:Dr. Shinn)

I'm new to this site, so bear with me. I just wanted to say hello and wish everyone great success. I haven't been schedule for my surgery yet, hopefully soon. I'm still a little nervous and have been doing alot of research. If anyone has used Dr. Robert Shinn from CAMC in Charleston,WV I would love to hear from you. Thanks :fairy:

I am 4.5 weeks post-op. Dr Shin is a wonderful Dr. I was scared too death and almost backed out. Which I have read is perfectly normal. I had complete faith in him and he saw me through it. I have not had any major complications only a stricture that was repaired last Wednesday by Dr Shin, he was quick to see me and schedule me to correct the problem. Christa, Dr. Shin did my surgery. I had mine at St. Francis due to my insurance coverage. Dr. Shin is awesome! I have had no complications from my surgery and have been at my goal weight for over a year now, I had surgery in May 05. I'd do it again in a minute if I had to. It's natural to be nervous. I cried like a baby on my final pre-op visit, and I had worked hard for a year to get this surgery approved! I sucked it up and went through with it. I was still scared when they put me to sleep. I was afraid when they woke me up. It was a rough couple of first months, but after that it was all down hill. I have followed his directions and done well. Have you been to one of his seminars yet? If not, you have to go to begin the process. You'll meet with him and get lots of information and then you'll be able to decide if this is right for you.
