Hello!

I am looking for someone here that is from the eastern panhandle of West Virginia that has recently gone thru the surgery or anyone with info that will help. My mom is wanting to have the surgery done and I want to help her but I am in Arkansas and she is in (you guessed it) West Virginia, Ranson to be exact. So anyone with an idea for a surgeon or a support group for her to go to will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jennifer

My wife and I went through GBS at Ruby Hospital at WVU in Morgantown in late 2005. The care, the surgeon and the results were outstanding. We live in Berkeley Springs in the eastern panhandle and would be willing to correspond with your mother. Between us we have lost 250 pounds and have absolutely no regrets. Curt

Way to go for you and your wife. I'm almost 9 months out and I'm down 122lbs. So I feel this would be the right thing for my mom. Thank you again for your time.
