I'm in need of a W.V friend!!!!!

Hi Angela, I always hang out in the main room and I hardly ever go into the state board but checked it today for some reason and there you were. Guess where I'm from? Grew up in Martinsburg and now living in Inwood. Weee! lol. I'm having my surgery in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins when I get approved. (long process) I read your info and my surgeon actually trained your surgeon. He is the Assistant Professor of Surgery for Johns Hopkins and is an awesome surgeon. He is Dr. Schweitzer. I have a very high BMI and I'm high risk so I am really excited about having him. So you should be in good hands too. Write to me anytime! Who knows...we could be related. LOL! Sandy~Diamond

Hey Angela! It's Sandy in Inwood! I didn't forget you, I'll call you soon. I have to go to Baltimore to see my surgeon Monday because I think I may change the type of surgery I want to get. Angela, I lived in the Martinsburg area for 15 years. I just moved to Charleston about 3 years ago. I am dating someone who lives in Inwood and I come up there at least once a month. I'd be glad to meet you for lunch sometime, or exchange e-mail addresses with you. What ever you're comfortable with. I had my surgery in May 2005. I haven't had any surgery-related problems. I have been at the same weight for about 8 months or so and if I had to have the surgery again tomorrow---I would in a New York minute. Sonja

I live in Martinsburg too. I feel kind of foolish, I have been on this board for several months and never thought to look at the WV state board. DUH. I am having surgery in Woodbridge, VA. I wi**** were closer or that there was a support group here in Martinsburg. I am happy to find there are others in my area. Maybe we could form our own support group.
