Lynn, Hello!!Thank you for your reply to my post.Is that a bass guitar you are holding in your picture??My family plays guitar,bass,banjo and you nameit, and if it has strings someone would try to play it. So where are you from?Scott Depot???not sure where that is?Do you know where Martinsburg is?Eastern Panhandle,about 15 min.away from Maryland. So 3 weeks post op and doing well that is wonderful!! My insurance as a 6 month weigh in and that ends the last week of Nov. and my doc says that they will give the insurance about a month to respond and then 2 weeks from then should be my surgery SO I am looking like Jan. sometime.Anyway I still need to find out about the best protien stuff,so that gives my some time. Well, I'm not that far from ya! I'm near Capon Bridge, WV about 18 miles from Winchester, VA. I had RNY on July 14th and am doing really well. I still have a ways to go, but, each day is closer to my goal. I originally went to Dr. Moazzez for my surgery but, my insurance gave me such a hard time, I had to stay 'in-state' and went to Morgantown at the University for my surgery. Hi there, I am new to OH and also would like a friend in WV. I have just begun this journey to a new life. I'm located in Parsons, WV and had quiet a job of finding the nearest medicare approved hospital. It turns out to be St. Margerts in Pitts. What did we do before the www.? I would have liked to use WVU since I know my way around in Morgantown, but it must be a Center of Excellence. I did learn that Medicare doesn't require the 6 month documented weight loss program from your PCP. At least that's what I was told when I spoke to the intake person @ St Margerts. I'm looking forward to meeting new people who can help with their valuable experience... Michelle

Well, I'm here for ya! So sad that you can't use Morgantown since you know your way around. I love my doc up there. My nutritionist is the best. Trying on clothes that I haven't worn in years is great. But, most of all, I feel so much better. I can breath better and can walk anywhere! Hi Michelle! I just thought I would jump in here to tell you that Johns Hopkins in Baltimore was just approved about 2 weeks ago as a center of excellence. I'm not sure where Parsons, WV is so I don't know if Pitts is closer or not. Just thought I would let you know! Sandy~Diamond

Beth, WOW!!!You are close to me, YES!!!! I was in Augusta last night for a veiwing at McCeefurnal home know where that is??I think that was thw name anyway.So you are doing well adn everything is going fine that is wonderful!!!I have my sleep study on 10-30.So how much have you lost??how is the protein stuff,I'm affraid that I won't be able to take that ,I guess I'll do my best!! OH and the whole not drinking while I eat that will take some gettin use to.
