TRYING TO FIND A SURGEON NEAR CLARKSBURG, WV

Hi all I am looking into getting the Lap Band procedure and I need to locate a doctor as close as possible to Clarksburg, WV? Also has anyone had the Lap Band??? Is it just as good as the Gastric Bypass??? Please let me know. Thank you

Hi I had the Roux-EN-Y GBP on march 31 this year, I went to a wonderful surgeon in Charleston, Dr. Daniel Stickler. He is excellent. And his staff is excellent also. He only performs the bypass. I work with a couple of people that have had the Lap Band, and they have regained their weight lost back plus more. I am a RN and I have lost 80 lbs since surgery. I reviewed all the bariatric options and the bypass seemed like the one that was going to give me the long term results I wanted, but you do have to make life chaning eating ha*****anges. You have to remember with the bypass surgery they are changing your digestive tract and it cannot be reconnected, with the band it can be removed if needed.
