Good morning Gang! I absolutely crushed my step goal yesterday. We did 6 kms at lunch yesterday which is pretty good because I thought we were moving pretty slow!
Off to the gym this morning, and skipping the lunchtime walk today. Will get out for morning and afternoon break and we usually do 2 kms for those walks so will still get in plenty of steps.
B - 4.25 oz chicken breast
S - 90 gr pot roast
L - taco salad (cukes, 4 oz ground beef, catalina, cheese), 2 oz strawberries, 3 tbsp. light cool whip
S - 5 slices deli turkey and 1 slice of light marble (why do they put an odd number of slices in the package?)
D - bacon wrapped sirloin
Total Cal 1039, Carbs 23, Protein 128
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Good afternoon! Hope you all had a good weekend, mine was busy busy busy. Lots on the go on Saturday and then we went to the drive in Saturday night. The Hitman's Bodyguard and Logan Lucky. The first was good, the second not worth me staying up that late for!
Sunday we had to put a new roof on the shed at our rental property. My tenant is my friend that I go to the gym with so she made us lunch when we were all done. Then home and I made my Trucker and my mom some banana bread. Went to the gym this morning and did 6 kms at lunch. Have well surpassed my step goal for the day and I'm not done. Trucker has a ball game tonight.
