Hi there! Your menu looks great to me, maybe it's the metabolism that's giving you the problem. How's your exercise routine? One thing that worked for me was to walk every hour for about 10 minutes. I ended up doing 4 to 6 walks a day. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Topic: On the road again! Help me get back on track :)

Hey y'all!

Its been a while since I've logged in. But my wedding is coming up in May, and I want to get back to losing!!

Some background; I'm 5'1", 30 years old, F, and got my VSG almost 3 years ago.

I got down to 129, (first goal was 130); and over the course of last year got back up to 140 :0

I began tracking again a few months ago, however I'm only down 7 lbs and I need some guidance/refresher knowledge :) My new goal I've set is to get to 120, or wherever I feel is a happy place for me.

I typically get between 80-100 grams of protein per day, carbs under 60grams per day, calories around 1000-1200.

I am losing... but veeeery slowly.

Do I need to take down my calories??

Avg day will look like this:

B: Coffee w/ half half

S: Greek yogurt w/ flax seeds & chia seeds

L: Grilled chicken or beef and spinach

S: Premier protein shake

S: Cheese

D: Grilled chicken or beef and spinach

WOW....What an exciting 12 Days we had!!! We went on a Disney Cruise with 2 of our DD's, SIL's and 5 of our Grandkids. It was an Avenger one this time instead of the Princesses which was super nice for the boys. We shipped out of NY so we stayed over a few days and visited NY City. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE THAT WAS!!! I was born and raised in a small town so the thousands and thousands of people, the huge stores, traffic etc. of the Big Apple was totally overwhelming to me.

Super excited about the scales when I got home. I only gained 2 pounds!!! If you have ever been on a cruise you know that food is plentiful and you can have as much as you want. We also went to the Original Carlos Bakery (Cake Boss) in NJ. I bought a "treat" but I haven't even taken a bite of it and I brought treats home for the people at work but I only had a couple of bites and pitched the rest out.

Thank You to Everyone who started M&M!!! Catch up with you All tomorrow!!!

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

Welcome! You're going to love the control you will have post WLS. Of course WLS isn't EASY but it's so much more doable than the traditional methods.

I am so close to being rid of my CPAP I can almost TASTE it!
