Holy moly- I just ran the numbers on a calorie calculator website- it makes sense actually! It says 1013 cals per day to lose 1lb a week. My avg loss per week has been .75-1.0 lb per week. To lose 2lbs a week at my current weight- it puts me at 515 cals per day- wow! Maybe I can meet in the middle and shoot for 800 cals. 1.5 per week would feel good for body and mind.

Calorie Calculator

Result

You need 1,513 Calories/day to maintain your weight. 1,513
You need 1,013 Calories/day to lose 1 lb per week. 1,013
You need 513 Calories/day to lose 2 lb per week.
513
You need 2,013 Calories/day to gain 1 lb per week. 2,013
You need 2,513 Calories/day to gain 2 lb per week. 2,513

If you're sitting at around 133 lbs I would think that 1200 calories is maintenance calories.

I would try and cut down your calories without impacting your protein numbers. If you can lose the half and half in your coffee and use Premier Protein as your whitener.

I try and stay at about 1000-1100 calories to lose but I'm 170 lbs.

It will be harder to lose because you're further out but it's still calories in vs. calories out. Like someone asked, what is your exercise routine if any? You don't mention what your water intake is. I would try to get that over 100 oz per day.

I'm pretty much still a newbie, so take my advice however you want.

Good luck with the weightloss and Congrats on the wedding!

Thanks Ginny! I don't excersize much, outside of daily dog walks. I don't like to do it during losing phases especially; water weight gain from working out really messes with my head. on maintenance I do venture out more.

I'm thinking that sometimes I add a low cal salad dressing to my spinach, and that's just empty calories. If I cut that out it will save me some carbs and calories both (cant give up that half & half yet hehe!).

Next week instead of spinach salad i'll do a light sautee of spinach garlic and mushrooms and see how I do.

Topic: 9 YEAR SURGIVERSARY

I just realized this!!!! We were away on October 15th which would have been my 9th Year Surgiversary!! It's hard to believe 9 years have gone by soooo quickly and I've kept off 84 pounds! I started this journey at 203 lbs. and my perfect 3 pound range is 118-120. 119 is my Happy Weight....... I went from a size 20/22 to a size 4P.

I have one Basic Rule that helped me loose and keeps the weight off......Drink and Eat Protein and leave the carbs and sugar alone!!!!! I know my daily Menus are sparse and I honestly do eat more than I post early in the day but I stick to the Protein rule religiously! I don't limit the times or amounts I eat in a day if it's Protein. I eat very little "bad" carbs like bread, sweets, etc. I eat very little fruit because of the sugar.

I don't starve to Maintain weight!! I eat more times a day but base it on "good" Protein.

I pretty much snack all day long. Eating numerous "snacks" works for me but I base them on Protein like meat, tuna fish, salmon patties, beef sticks, cheese, nuts, seeds, jerky, eggs, etc. I have at least 2 Protein shakes a day with at least 25+ grams each).

I do have a weakness for Popcorn. I pop plain popcorn in my microwave popper with just enough oil that it won't stick and I add a little salt. It gives me the crunch without all of the calories.

Also I am not crazy about exercising BUT I probably wouldn't have as much loose skin if I had firmed up during the losing stage.....LOL. If you are are exercising during the losing stage just keep in mind you need to continue or you will might struggle with regain if you cut back.

(Repeated from Previous Surgiversary Posts) Some write that I am an inspiration for them but they have that backwards.....YOU ARE ALL MY INSPIRATION....the reason that I keep posting...the reason I track my menus...YOU are the ones that made this ride so easy...THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE FOR ME...and sharing in this life changing experience!!!!!!!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Good Morning LW's!!!!! I'm sitting at my desk enjoying my Protein Drink....YUM! Work is going to be slow today so I'm going to clean out some filing cabinets.

Breakfast: Handful of Coconut and Seeds

Welcome Back and Congrats on your upcoming wedding!!! 7 pound loss is pretty good when you are further out.

I agree with Gina that your Menu sounds pretty good! I wouldn't cut back any more. If you make any changes at all I'd probably increase your Proteins. Maybe add another Protein drink and another Protein snack. I know it sounds logical to cut back to loose faster but Sometimes cutting back is the wrong way to go.

Keep us updated!!!
