WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Afternoon LW's!!!! I was VERY Happy when I got on the scales this morning!! Yesterday morning I was extremely upset when the scales read 123. I haven't seen that number in a long time!!! I know it was just from vacation but boy did I feel "fat" all day. Yesterday and today I've gone strictly "Protein" and the scale was back down to 120 this morning....YEAH!!
Afternoon LW's!!!!!

My flattened boobs, saggy thighs and arms are staying as is. I was thrilled to be able to do the TT and facelift. Those bothered me the most.
I have done well so far but I know that I have to stay vigilant forever. It is great to see someone like yourself who has sustained your weight loss for the long term.

It looks like you have done Wonderful!!!!! I'm perfectly happy where I am but sometimes I regret adding in some foods in to soon. I do have a few rolls I would like to get rid of.
I wish I could have afforded a few trips the surgeon's office. There's nothing that I can't cover up but my boobs are pretty disgusting and so are my legs.

Happy Surgiversary! It IS truly wonderful to see someone this far out who has kept the weight off. I try to follow the same rules you espouse, so hopefully I will stay at goal as well over the long haul.

I am 5'3" and weigh 115-118. My maintenance calories are an average of 1250. I know the average because I track and chart them plus I had an RMR (resting metabolism rate) test. When I get to the top (or above) my range I drop my calories to about 800 until it comes back down near the bottom. My recommendation is that you drop your calories (but keep the protein at the current level at minimum).

Happy Surgiversary, Roz!
