Regain is such a battle. Hang in there, sounds like your doing things right!
I am 5' 1" and 51 years old. 7 years post op rny.
I got down to 131, got back up to 164. Thank goodness down to 145, but when I think about it, 19 pounds in 120 days is not so bad. Trying to get back into the 130's.
Good luck!
Congrats on your engagement and wedding coming up!

So Sorry I didn't see your poster sooner!!! We left on vacation on the 5th and I was kindof slipping at posting on those few days before that.
Thanks for the compliment....I needed it today!!! I've really been bummed that we have so few posters. I don't know what else to do to get them posting like it was when I started my journey over 9 years ago.
You have done an Awesome Job keeping your weight off!! I'm sooooo Proud of you!!!!!!! I'm glad you have working out. That seems to be the biggest downfall for others. They exercise like crazy until they hit goal and then exercising gradually disappears and the weight starts working it's weight back on.
That's one of the things I ward new posters about. You have to LOVE exercising and if you start you HAVE TO continue doing it after you get to goal.
I knew an exercise program was NOT for me...........LOL.
Please stop back in we could use some help!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Scales are still at 108....YEAH!!! DH wants to go to Texas Roadhouse after Church.....BUT CAN I FIGHT THE BUN/BUTTER BATTLE???? This afternoon I'm going to finally get my yard decorated for fall/Halloween.

Morning LW's!!!! I've loving the scales again this morning and my flatter tummy!!!! Riding my body of carbs and increasing my Protein is doing the job!!! Down from 123 a couple days ago to 118 this morning which is the bottom of my "perfect" range!!! Why do I have to see a scary number before I realize what I've been doing???? We walked for miles while on vacation but I was putting to many carbs in my body that it didn't like.
Off to 4 basketball games today. These Grandson's sure keep us busy!

The only biscuits I can't turn away from are the ones at Red Lobster. Those should be illegal!

How do you avoid the Buns.....? I was thinking about going there for supper but I KNOW I'd blow my Protein Day Plan. I just can't resist them and the butter.
Thanks posting!!!
