WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Afternoon LW's!!!! Our 2 Oldest Granddaughters have a concert tonight. They go to a Performing Arts school 1.5 hours away. Love hearing them sing but hate the long ride after work. I'm not sure where DH will stop to eat but I'm hoping it's some place I can get some good Protein. I had a Dr appointment before work this morning or I would have packed myself a sensible dinner.

Breakfast:

Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Lunch: Beef Barley Soup

Snack: Sliced Ham

Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

My parents are hanging in there, so sad to see my dad getting a little weaker everyday and more short of breath. ALS is really an awful disease. As for my mom, she is still not walking well and her memory is not very good, and her depression seems to be getting worse.

Sorry to hear the little guy is not feeling well. Welcome back from vacation

You started your day out strong! A Sausage Patty sounds delish! We just got a 1/4 Beef and next I want to get some pork....YUM!

How's it going with your Parents? I haven't been to see my Mom at the Nursing home since I got home. Right after we got home from vacation the 2 yr old Grandson broke out with Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease so I'm going to wait and see if any of the rest come down with it. He must have gotten it on the cruise.

We don't go to Red Lobster often because DH doesn't care for it but I do remember those buns being delicious!

Topic: Syntrax Mint Cookie SALE!!!!!!!!

In the last few months the Protein that I've used for years raised their price up $16.00 for a 5 lb. bag. It went from 38.52 to 54.50 a bag. I had to drop down from ordering 2 bags at a time to ordering 1 every month.

I buy my Protein from All Star Health and yesterday when I placed my order they were having a sale on some of the Syntrax flavors and fortunately my Mint Cookie is one of them ($37.40)!! I checked other sites and they are still selling them at over $50.00.

THE SALE IS STILL GOING ON TODAY!! I wrote and asked them how long it's going to be on sale but they haven't responded yet. I'm hoping it lasts until next week so I can order 2 more.

Morning LW's!!!! I did it!! I won the Bun/Butter battle at TX Roadhouse which turned out not to be much of a challenge. I was perfectly content with steak and green beans with bacon. Scale was still at the bottom of my "good" range @ 118. I am having a stuff pork chop for dinner but there won't be much stuffing and I did put extra egg in it.

Breakfast:

Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Lunch: 1 Crab Cake (little oatmeal)

Snack: 1 Beef Stick

Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack: Sliced Ham

Dinner: Stuffed Pork Chop

Snack: Jerky
