WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

WOW....What a rain storm we had during the night. The electric just kept clicking off and on and I have to reset our clocks after I post. We have a a couple of HUGE trees outside our bedroom window. We lost 2 a couple of years ago and consider cutting these two down but we enjoy them so much in the summer that we just couldn't do it. Just prayed they would fall the other way and tried to get a little sleep.

I had WLS just after my 61st birthday and it was the best thing I ever did for my health and my looks (side benefit). I had insomnia years ago but found a way to eliminate it many years prior to WLS. I don't think the weight and insomnia are related (though HBP and insomnia can be I think).

I didn't really pick up exercise to lose weight, I didn't start until January of this year so 9 mos out.
I did it for toning and cardiovascular and mental health.
Sometimes its hard to get up and go, but I have a damn Step Counter and I know if I don't go to the gym I'll never make my step goal and I'm pretty anal about that! LOL I don't usually go on the weekends those are my down days, but I've just incorporated it into my weekly routine....its just a part of going to work now.
Happy Anniversary! I hope you enjoyed your night out!!!
Sounds Good!

I give you lots of credit exercising and going to the gym!! I'm not an exerciser and I decided from the beginning I wasn't going to do that to loose weight. I knew I would never be able to do that the rest of my life so I had to find another way to loose and keep it off. Routine and boring that's me....lol.
Sounds Good!
