I know that healthy carbs are encouraged by most NUTS but I think you'll find most of the successful people on these boards avoid them during the losing stage.
When you say 6 -7 cups of water are you talking 8 oz cups? That's not near enough water IMO. I would try to up that if you can.
Your menu looks pretty good except maybe the carbs in the beans......
Keep your protein and water up and your carbs as low as you can during the losing phase and keep at it.
Good luck to you and stick around. I'm sure others will chime in once they get back to the boards, this one is visited by mostly Americans, and they are enjoying their holiday. Try the Ontario Board or even the Revision board if you want more advice.
My soft food stage ...
Breakfast- 1 scoop whey protein islolate 100 cals
1 cup unsweetened cashew milk 25 cals
Snack- on the go cottage cheese 113 g. 90 cals
Lunch- 1/2 cup white bean chicken chili. 128 cals
Snack - herb and garlic laughing cow cheese 2 triangles. 45cals
Dinner- chilli ( extra lean ground beef, kidney beans etc ) 1/2 cup 175cals
Water intake is usually around 6-7 cups , hard to ge****er in so addin Mio flavouring...
Healthly carbs are allowed ie. beans etc- have had no other like bread, crackers etc
Also, i know i am in slight ketosis because i have tested...i do notice it in inches a bit but still thought weight loss would be more by the fact that im not eating as mucch, avoiding all carbs and sugar etc....

At only 20 days post op I'm surprised you can get in 600 calories. Certainly that still isn't very many but I'm surprised. Your body is likely just adjusting to major surgery. How is your water intake? You want it to be in the 100 oz range. So early out I ate next to zero carbs. I concentrated on protein only.
I have read here many times that revisions lose a little slower than others but no I don't think the fact that you're a lightweight is slowing you down.
Post your typical daily menu and it will be easier for us to help you trouble shoot. Make sure you are getting your water in because that's a big deal.
I am 20 days post op and have stalled at the same weight now since post op day 10. I lost 10 lbs the first week and 5 on opti. I have not lost a thing since then. Im keeping my calories to 600 a day now on soft foods, tracking my food and drinking my water and taking my vitamins. Protein has been always at 65grams and carbs have been between 25-30 grams....
Is this a stall because i am so frustrated ! Im 4'11 and started at 204 lbs , lost 5 on opti and 10 the first week after rny. Is the fact that im a lightweight making it harder for me ? Also, i had a revision from lapband to rny, is this making it harder to lose as well ? I read that somewhere...
Any advice would be helpful... so discouraged...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL THE AMERICAN POSTERS! I hope you all have a wonderful enjoying your family and friends.
Just a regular day here in Ontario, I'm a little envious!
I went to a new class at the gym last night, it was 20/20. So 20 minutes of low impact cardio, and then 20 minutes of Core and Stretches. I quite enjoyed it. I wanted to stay for Zumba but knew I wouldn't be able to handle the whole hour so I bailed, and yes I felt guilty. Gym this morning and then a regular work day.
B1 - 1/2 protein bar (Oh Yeah One - pumpkin pie flavour)
B2 - 1 egg, 1 slice cheese, 2 slices bacon
S - premier protein shake
L - 6 deli turkey slices with 2 slices light cheddar, mustard
S - 2 chicken strips
D - bacon wrapped sirloin
Total Cal 1231, Carbs 34, Protein 146
I probably shouldn't have had the 1/2 bar but I was hungry after the gym. Maybe I'll forgo the protein shake if I'm not too hungry to bring my calories down a bit.
Have a great day everyone.
Good morning! Sure didn't want to go to the gym this morning, and when I came out my truck was covered in snow. So tired today, and yet I picked today to do a couple of classes at the gym after work. D'uh, although I'm not there yet.
Glad you're feeling better Roz! Have a wonderful thanksgiving.

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

I'm soooo excited for Thanksgiving!!! I'm going to make the Pumpkin pies this evening and everything else in the morning. DD#2 is making the rest of the desserts. The hardest part is keeping my hubby out of them...... I always give in....
