It sounds like a plan Ladies!!!! GET EXCITED.....IT'S A NEW BEGINNING!!!
I think going back to 2 or 3 Good Protein Drinks and concentrating on Protein foods should get you jump started! I wouldn't give up until the excitement of the scales moving in the right direction gets you back on track. I would try my best to eliminate bad carbs like bread and pasta. Cut back on the fruit too if that's something you have been eating. Think low carb and high protein for as long as you can. I'm not as concerned about how much I eat as I am about what I eat. Some days I eat all day long.
Make a list of foods you ate early out and stock up so they are available. I loved Beef Jerky back in those days! Sometimes I still overdose on Beef Jerky and Scrambled Eggs....LOL.
Up your water intake if you can and get rid of any sugary or diet drinks.
I can't wait to hear updates!!!!

I did better today, so I'll call this a practice day. I diluted the milk I use in protein coffees and shakes and skipped the Greek yogurt. I did have some Valentines Day candy though. It was a start in the right direction. We'll see if it made any difference in the morning.

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Happy Valentines Day LW's!!!! My hubby got me roses and a beautiful card. He even sat at the gym this evening at our DD's gym while I worked at the front desk. We've been married over 43 years and he's still my Sweetheart. I hope you all have a significant that makes you Smile!!

I'm not sure what the right answer is but I'm willing to try going back to protein shakes for everything but dinner and only having that as a small protein and green veggie meal. I think I need to come off mixing my protein coffees with so much milk and use 1/2 as much water as milk. I think I may try to drop the Greek yogurt at breakfast. I don't know if the change will help kick start some weight loss but I'm willing to try it. I also know I need to increase the amount of plain water I drink and come off the soft drinks. Man! Do you want to do this with me? We can do this!

I wish I could get back to only eating around 1000 cal a day. You're doing great! Losing 68 pounds is nothing to sneeze at but I understand your frustration. I've heard that folks with revisions may have a little more difficulty getting the weight to come off as compared to a person whose only in the newby stage of a single WLS. It's like your body has been there, done that, and knows the tricks of how to keep the weight on. Max frustration for sure but beatable. I've seen some great results over the years here on OH. Just stay with it and don't stop. Your WL window should be 12 or so months, so keep at it!
Carolyn's post was trying to warn folks that have less pounds to lose overall to not be discouraged when they see someone with a lot more pounds to lose posting about losing 150 pounds in 6 months. That's not going to happen for us lightweights who only have to lose 100 pounds overall. We lose at similar rate as related to our weight, just not the same number of pounds as a heavier person.

Hi Everyone!
It's been a very long time. Should have listened to the advice given my the old-timers on here. I've regained about 40 pounds of what I had originally lost. I let the emotional eating get in the way of making sound food decisions. I let the stress of having a teen with PTSD and my own mental illness cloud my better judgement when it came to self-care. Not going to delve into the pity party because I know that's not going to get me anywhere.
I came back because I need the advice of how to get back on track. Suggestions and comments are most welcome! What I am really hoping to know if how best to get back on track - how low should I am my carb intake to be? Should I look back to my protein shakes? How much protein should I be looking at? How often should I eat? Stuff like that...
Thanks in advance for any help you can give! I want to get this right and get my weight back down.
