I wanted to give an update today after the visit with the doctor who will medically clear me and take care of me in hospital and the RD. All went well. I had a ton of blood work and an EKG. I need to see a cardiologist as well. Three was a hiccup in the EKG, probably nothing. The RD was great  and gave me a lot of good advice. I still can't lose more than 2#. I'm going to do three meals a day and start getting in the lifelong habit of eating healthy. The journey begins. Anticipating surgery end of December.

Protein was 113!!  How much higher do I need to go?

Happy Birthday to MEEEEEEEEE!  Ya ya whatev!  It's just another day of mindful eating.  Good thing I don't really like cake! Now give me a birthday beer and I'm done!! LOL

So I planned out my day on my iPad, and for some reason it hasn't synced to my phone, so here is what I know....

B - 1 egg, 1 slice of cheese

S - 2 oz egg salad

L - going out with a girlfriend

S - 3 oz deli meat

D - 4 oz steak, 1 cup Caesar salad

S - Premier Protein Shake

that's all I got .... have a great day ladies!

Black Bean soup sounds good.  I need to figure out how to make a bean soup that is super salty or spicy.  I really mis my Chili!!!

With this being a 1/2 day menu I hope your Protein total went up alot.

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
