Don't feel too bad. I'm on the OH boards regularly and I still make poor choices every day.

oOne thing missing from your plan that is key for many people is using a tracker like MyFitnessPal to monitor nutrition and steps every day. Once you start tracking, it becomes 2nd nature very quickly.

Wow, what a really small world.  I lived in Windsor for almost 15 years, my kids grew up there! Yes, I know full-well the lack of contact with the outside world when you live in such a tiny town. LOL

Anywho... glad you're back!

I think about 10-11 months.  Surgery weight of 220, low 111.  Settled around 125, now 135.  Would love to be back to 125.  Bounce back is very real.

Topic: Internet hell

I'm not good about posting when I am away because I stay so busy but this past week it was basically impossible to get a connection even with my phone.  My new house in Windsor, SC is in the middle of nowhere but until the last 2 hurricanes, I could talk on the phone and check email, etc from the tablet.  For about 5 days after the first storm, no way.  This time, I had no connection for the 8 days I was there.  I ended up getting a dish put up so next time I am gone, I will have internet one way or the other.

I miss you guys and the scale shows it too.  I am going to have to buy a scale for there.  I need daily accountability .  So I am home for about a week - 10 days then gone again.  It is the busy season for my events and the next 2 are in Windsor in November.

Topic: RE: taking back control of myself.

Welcome back.  It is so easy to put it on and so hard to take it off.  It is a daily lifelong commitment but it is doable.  I had good luck with the 5 day pouch test as a "reset"  Need to do it again.

Stick on here and post on M&M.  It helps me when I can/do.

I baked another batch of low carb Brownies and these are much better than the ones I made last Sunday.  These are edible but not something I would serve to guests.  They aren't so good I will be reaching for one too often.  A teaspoon of peanut butter helped the taste.

Today was much cooler.  Sunday and Monday were really hot and our AC had been wrapped for winter.  I was ready to rip the cover off.  I don't do hot weather without AC very well.  Today was much better.

Breakfast - Click Shake

Snack - Protein bar

Lunch - Chicken & Dumplings (Dumplings made with CarbQuick....tasted as good as ones made with Bisquick)

Snack - Beef Sticks

Dinner - Ham; Laughing Cow; protein chips

Snack - Low Carb Brownies
