Glad to see familiar faces on the lightweight boards. Hope to be back on here regularly. Up a few lbs but going back to my roots and kicking the carbs to the curb. Hubby has retired and that has changed our eating routine so its a good time to renew my plan.
Hello LW's
I think I can safely say I'm solidly into the 100's now. Dropped to 198.2 one day last week, but didn't wanna jinx it by saying anything. 195.8 this morning....not going back to the 2s!

Have a great day!
Thank you for asking!! They cannot tell for sure. It is right in the knuckle. They said at his age if it is hairline it may not show for a couple of days :-(. He broke his pinkie about 2 months ago. Yes, he plays hard when he is playing football! The pinkie did not hurt him at all. This time he is in a lot of pain. He is one of those kids that just fight through pain. So I am worried!!
I think part of the issue for me is that I have always been a picky eater. I can't stand Vienna Sausage. The NUT won't let me have refried beans until week 12. She says they are too fatty. I guess I should keep more packs of Tuna with me. I am usually prepared but now I need to be prepared for being unprepared :-)

One of the things I ended up doing when I was out and ran out of stuff was to run in a grocery and get deli meat and or cheese. 2 oz would do me early out and was easier than going through a drive through. Baby bell cheese will last a day or so with no refrigeration. Wendy's chili was pretty easy and ok. or refried beans from Taco Bell. You can also keep Vienna sausage with no frig. I love them but they turn some folks off.
Is your son's hand broken???

The not perishable part is tough. What about beef jerky?
I am not allowed to have protein bars for another month. My NUT hates them pretty much. I usually keep a good supply of protein items in my cooler bag but since we had been on the road for 8 hours and about 3 in the ER by the time I posted, I had run out.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for what I could carry in my purse that is non-perishable? I am not allowed to have nuts for a couple of weeks either.

Darn. Hope he is okay. Although I try to not depend on them but I do keep a supply of protein bars on hand for crazy times. I find them pretty addictive but useful at times
