WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
WOW...What a great weekend DH and I had!! We went to a campground with our girls for the weekend and then took the 2 youngest grandsons (the rest had school) to ELK County. They were soooo excited to see the Big Elk running free all through the neighborhood. We were worried about taking them but they were such good little guys. We got home just in time for them to get ready for Trick or Treat.
I handed out chips and drinks and I tried really hard to stay out of the candy my DD had me hand out for her but I failed and the mini Snickers took over. I think I had 4 of them. My scales are still 2 pounds up and I've increased my Protein and watching my carbs to get them off. I don't want to start the holidays with extra pounds.

I am doing pretty well. I have removed almost all the carbs from my diet. Shut down all the snacking and grazing.
AND DROPPED 10 LBS of my 30 lb regain.
So 20 to go...
adding in some moderate exercise. Fast walking for 30 minutes a day for at least 3 to 4 times a week.
I'll check back in, in another week.

down 3 lbs this week to 195.8 (glad to have stayed the same as before I went away)
Happy 1st Day of November everyone! Roz, I hop all is well with your DH! Well I had a great weekend away but I am happy to have slept in my own bed last night and get back into a routine. Road trips are not as fun/easy when you can't just pull into any fast food joint you see! I did have my cooler packed with good snacks and such but that gets a little boring.
Anyway, back at it today. Going to be unseasonably warm so a great day to get out for a walk at lunch. I have an assignment due on Monday so I really need to get working on it, I'm just so not interested.
Here's the plan
B - 1 egg, 1 slice cheese
S - 1/2 lrg Wendy's chili (leftover from said road trip)
L - 4 oz meatloaf
S - 2 deli turkey and a hunk of cheese (probably more cheese than I should eat, thanks to the American packaging, may only eat half)
D - shepperds pie
S - premier protein
Total Cal - 1017, Carbs 45, Protein 110
Did 3.2 kms at lunch! That's only about 4500 steps, so I will have to get out for another walk this evening!.
Hope you're all having a great day!
Last week 127.2
This week 126.8

Stayed the same right around 124. I'd love to see it lower since my shape is changing due to sitting all day at work....got to get one of those stand-up desks.
