It might be. One thing I have thought about - if the fish is farmed raised, it is fed pellets for food so it isn't eating another fish with worms. It also is fed antibiotics and dyes in that food, so it is getting de-wormed at the same time. If it is farmed fish (read the label on the package), I wouldn't be too concerned about it. But I still pull out the strings like you found. I don't care if it is a vein or some other type of cartilage - it looks like a worm to me even if it isn't. It's dead, it won't give you worms, I just personally don't think it's tasty myself.

Morning LW's!!!! Still lots of snow but bright and sunny this morning. It's almost time for me to get the grandkids to school. I LOVE hearing their chatter in the mornings!!! For the last couple of weeks my scales have been at their low but this morning it jumped back up to the bottom of my comfort range.

I broke down and order two bags of my favorite Protein "Matrix Mint Cookie". The prices have raised so much it sickens me to spend that kind of money at one time. BUT...I have to keep in mind how happy and healthy I am now AND the money I would be spending on "BAD" snacks and drinks would cost just as much (or more) over a month's time.

I broke down and ordered 2 bags of my Matrix Mint Cookie. Vitacost was offering 10% off for registering plus I got 3% off from ebates. I love my Mint Cookie but the price is getting crazy.

You are right but I have a hard time thinking about that. I'm sure snacks for a week probably add up to more than a bag of Protein.

Sounds Good!
