Congrats on being successful over the holidays!! I didn't do so good.

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Thanks to all of you!!! My Nut wants me to stay above 500 cal, she prefers 800 to 1000 per day, with the theory that I'll be able to lose quickly yet have a higher maintenance level down the road. When I asked for supporting studies she didn't have any to provide. As of now, I'm mostly clocking in at about 700 total calories per day.

Easter Sunday was nice. Just DH, DS and me. I fixed a ham dinner so we have lots of ham left. I made a Key Lime Pie (WW recipe) with yogurt, SF Jello and Cool whip. Very light and creamy and sugar free. I put the filling in individual graham cracker crust.

This morning didn't start so well. As I was leaving, I saw a cat at the end of the driveway. I approached it and it didn't move so I let my son know. It was his cat. She had gotten out without him knowing. She was only 7 years old. He tQuesthinks she may have been diabetic because she had been drinking a lot of water. There were no marks on her so she wasn't in a fight. He was crazy about her. She didn't like anyone but him.

We need some good vibes sent our way. I looked at shelters for another dog but have decided I'm not ready for another one. I miss my Sophie so much. She would always come in when I was sewing and lay under my sewing table.

I've had 2 instances at work Friday and today that I say no, thanks and felt so good about it. My manager asked if it would bother me if she brought out a package of peanut butter eggs. I told her no so 3 of them were eating them. They weren't Hershey so I wasn't missing anything. Cupcakes were brought in today for a birthday and I didn't have one. Instead, I had a Quest breakfast bar.

Premier Protein shake (30 g)

Quest breakfast bar (12 g)

Mexican Lasagna

Cheese/almonds snack box

Tilapia, green beans

Key Lime Pie

Way short on protein

You aren't even a month out so don't worry. Yes, I think being a lightweight you will less that those who have 100+ lbs. to lose. Follow your doctor's orders and enjoy every loss and don't stress out.

Morning LW's!!! I hope you all had a Wonderful Easter weekend!! Our family was Blessed with an Awesome one!!! We had a great Easter Dinner with our family, my brother and sister's families. Then for the first time we left the 8 Easter baskets at our house and all of our kids and grandkids came over and spent the rest of the day together. The weather was Beautiful and everyone had a great time!

I have to admit I let the candy Monster get a hold of me!!! The scales were a couple of pounds up but I'm sure they will be back down before we leave for vacation next week.

My stats are in my signature. I was eating about 400 calories the first few months, then 500 for a couple, up to 700/800 at about 6 months post-op.

So, you are still really early and you still have lots of healing, water weight and your body's WTF the reaction to get though. So, anyway...now that I said that...the below picture is my weight tracking. 1/8 was the day I started liquid pre-op. Surgery was 1/17 and I did not weigh (or log it?) at home. I'm just about 13 weeks post op.
