I had 30lbs on you and my first month was higher (by 6lbs), but each month since has been 10-12lbs and then the most recent one was 8lbs. I'm a little over 20lbs from goal and guessing I'm going to see it slow even more this month.

I had my RNY on 3/29. I was about 205 the day of surgery and I dropped to 190, for a 15lb loss the first month (April). I'm on track to drop another ten pounds this month. I don't see others losing this slowly.
I feel like (historically) I lost weight faster prior to the RNY and with less of a cut in total calories. I'm probably just panicking but I just thought that the weight would come off faster with the calorie deficit alone, let alone the bypass.
I am exercising so I'm sure I'm adding a little muscle but I'm not convinced that muscle gain can explain the slow drop in my weight...
This weekend I'll take my measurements (trying to just do that once a month). I do see my (expensive, post mastectomy reconstructed from body fat) breasts shrinking, and I'm seeing my waist shrink so I know the pounds I am losing are counting... but UGH!!!! Sooooooo Slowwwwwwww!

I LOVE my Matrix Mint Cookie but would like to get a little variety. Any Suggestions? It has to be Whey Protein with at 20+ grams per scoop.

Congrats on losing 8 pounds and on being the Protein Winner!!!!! I've been wanting to try some new Proteins. Still love mine but getting bored with it. I think I'll start a post and get some suggestions.
I'm so glad you are happy with your Puppy!! I wish I could have a cat even it was an outside cat.....
Our DGD turns 12 on the 26th so we are celebrating this weekend with a cook out. The kids want to swim but it just isn't warm enough here yet. The will have to wait and see if Pappy gives in.
