Menus and Miles Friday Sept. 8th
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Afternoon LW's!! Busy Friday here at work. Looking forward to the weekend!!!!!!!

Exercise: Biked to work, this time on the city streets which was terrifying! I'm going to bike home on the street, but I'll use a route with dedicated bike lanes. My usual bike commute has been on the bike trail but it takes longer to get to it...

Hi, Ho! :D
You look marvelous, m'dear!
Cottage cheese and lemon flavouring (not misspelled...Lol...just a Canadian!), is a combination that sounds awesome! And, in a zillion years I'd never have the palate (or, culinary imagination?) to put those two together in order to make something else soo yummy! Thx for sharing, you. :)
Incidentally, this is a terrific picture! Could you AND the doggy be cuter!? Lol...You guys even colour (there's my 'Maple Leaf' showing again...Lol) co-ordinate...To...A...Tee! Precious! :)
Porter is my sister's dog, but he really loves me as I'm not so attentive to the human puppies in the house! Here is a picture of my own (future) puppy- he's still with his mom and litter mates but I'll be picking him up at the end of this month! I'm staying with my sister and her family for a few months so I'll be continuing to share my bed with Porter while the puppy is crate trained. Hopefully having this privilege will help Porter hate the new puppy a little less!
