WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
It's almost Eclipse time here in PA. Pappy and Grandkids are waiting anxiously. The 9 yr. old loves the stars and planets and he is so excited and I'm hoping it isn't disappointed.
Well eating salad has definitely not helped my scale. I was at 121 today which is out of my "perfect" range. As soon as I finish up the things I bought I'm going back to my regular scrambled egg lunch.

Happy Monday Menu Peeps! I played 4 games of baseball on Saturday! What a long day, but so much fun!
Yesterday went 4 wheelin' with friends, again so much fun! Back to the grind today. Gym this morning for some cardio.
Eats for today:
B - 1/2 a cabbage roll
S - skyr with raspberries
L - 3.5 oz grilled chicken
S - 4 slices deli turkey, slice of light marble
D - 1 cabbage roll
Total Cal 676, Carbs 60, Protein 73
May have to add a snack tonight, will be going to my Trucker's ball game so maybe after that. Or a protein shake throughout the day to get the numbers up.
Have a good day!
That's Great! DH and our girls all played softball growing up. DH still plays. He's 65 so he moved up to a Senior Team. Those guys are pretty amazing. DH is a home run hitter. He's always played in the outfield but he's had a torn hamstring the last couple of years so he's been catching or extra hitting.

Back from vacation and back to work today. Enjoyed seeing the eclipse. I remember going out in the early 1960's and looking at the shadow of the eclipsing sun through a box over my head. Old school, they call it. lol

DH and DD took 5 of the grandkids out to see it. The 9 yr. old who is obsessed with planets can't quit talking about it. There were a lot of people in our complex at work who had cereal boxes. We peeked out to see if there was any darkness but everything looked normal so I guess I missed it.
Sounds Yummy Gina!
