WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning LW's!!!! Thank you to Gina for starting MM yesterday!! Meeting my 9 yr. old granddaughter for lunch today. She's taking classes at the local college. Yesterday was Chef day. She loves to cook (something I hate to do).

B- half a protein bar (left over from last night's post workout snack)

MS- Nectar Lemonade Stand protein powder

L- Tuna packet

AS- Pure Protein Frosty Chocolate shake (12 oz can)

D- Roasted salmon and 3.5 oz glass of red wine

ES- if needed I'll add a little cottage cheese with protein powder

Last night I had a stress test at 5pm so since I was already dressed for exercise and at the fitness center /cardiac facility, I went ahead and ran on the outdoor (paved) walking path. I ran three laps which is about 3.75 miles! My average pace was a freakishly slow 17'30", but my heart was firmly in the "Vigorous" range the whole run (and in the max range going up hill) so I think that is good justification for my slow pace. I can start picking it up some and as long as I'm getting a good cardio workout know that I'm not totally slacking.

After I ran I changed into my swim suit but was so tired from the run that I ended up just spending time in the steam room stretching out my legs and lower back.

Today I biked to work (14m round trip). I wore my sleeveless blouse and a black knee length skirt, my jacket was in my bike bag. This worked as it was a cool 68 F, but my hair was once again a sweaty mess under that bike helmet It's also likely that I was flashing a little panty to anyone who looked closely but seriously any inflicted trauma was their own fault for looking, am I right? Once I'm at a weight closer to goal I'll invest in some bike shorts that I can wear under my skirts, until then LOOK AWAY!!!
