WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Morning LW's!!! It's so nice to see a few more posters!! This site was Booming during my first few years of posting....it was wonderful! I truly believe posting on the Lightweight board has helped with my success!! I need to be accountable every single day!!
My Menu is the exact same as yesterday until I got to dinner. No ballgame tonight so there's stuffed pork chops in the crock pot. DH cuts them himself so he always puts a small pocket in mine so I'm not tempted to over due the stuffing.

Congrats on getting rid of 11 pounds!!!!! You are so right about working your tool!!! At 8+ years out I still have full and to much sugar signs.
Adding in another Protein drink might help you get rid of those 12 pounds faster.
Sounds Great!!

Good morning everyone. Still not feeling the best, so tired but here I am. Went to bed at 9 last night so maybe I had a little more sleep than I've been getting lately. Scale down to 173.8 this morning, the lowest yet. Doesn't make sense to me because I didn't really stick to plan yesterday - had some added calories and not necessarily "good" ones. Aw well might just be a blip or maybe my body needed extra fuel to help fight this cold.
Did 40 minutes of cardio at the gym this morning and will head out for lunch for a 5 km walk. Its pretty humid here so will have to take my water along.
I haven't decided yet if I want to move to a maintenance diet or not. Been playing with the stats to see what works. Could probably lose a few more lbs to cushion for regain but we'll see.
B - 2 HB eggs
S - meatloaf
L - chicken with sautéed peppers/onions, sour cream
S - 2 chicken strips
D - pot roast, (a cob of corn if the roadside stand has any, they were sold out yesterday)
Totals (sans corn) Cal 978, carbs 39, protein 100
Stay cool friends.
This is just my opinion....Unless you are in the normal BMI range and losing has completely stopped I would not rush into Maintenance. I was over 2 years out before I started Maintenance and I still regret starting it too soon. Sometimes we get a number in our head that sounds good and we start maintenance too early. If you have a goal weight that you want to live the rest of your life at then you need to go lower because bounce back is real!
Sounds Good!
