3 months out, 30 pounds down, feeling like a failure
This morning I took measurements (month end) and my bust measurement has dropped to 32". That's less than my below bust measurement when I was in my twenties and skinny! My chest is now 30", possibly due to the displaced muscle but OMG I can't believe my BUST is only 32"!!!!

I keep looking at the calendar, looking at my current weight, and trying to make sense of all of this.
My "smart" scale is showing a continuing drop in body fat, and an increase in muscle mass (I am pushing my activity pretty hard).
Measurements are meh... some big drops initially then, like the weight loss, next to nothing.
I'm measuring and recording everything I eat and drink, the good bad and ugly. My weekly intake averages have been at a steady 700 calories a day. I do struggle to get in enough liquids, and I'm often a little low on protein.
I'm four weeks into a 5K training program and "running" three times a week, about a mile and a half at a VERY SLOW PACE of like 17.5 minute miles. Yes, that would be slower than most people WALK a mile. I'm trying to get a minimum of 10K steps a day (this week was bad as I've been sick). I've installed an elliptical machine under my desk at work and I've been doing ten minute batches of work on it every hour or so. Sometimes 20 minutes at a go. My thighs are soar after a few minutes of the elliptical so I'm assuming it's working (and my pulse does go up some while I'm doing it).
Please give me some advice on how I can kick things into gear! I want to lose at LEAST ten to fifteen pounds a month over the next three months.
Thanks!
I lost 122# with NO exercise and have kept it off for 7 years, with NO exercise, none.
It is not about how much exercise you do, it is about what you put in your mouth.
Unfortunately, YOU can't force a certain amount of weight loss a month. I never lost 10# a month but I went on to lose 122# just the same.
My exercise is more about getting strong and fit, but yeah, I admit it FEELS like it should HELP with the calories burned part, no? All of my goals are fitness related, although CLEARLY I'm focusing on the one empirical measure we can all see, that damn number on the scale!!!
I realized this week that some of my weight loss stall is likely due to my going off the water pill I'd been taking for my high blood pressure. Suddenly my ankles are a little puffy - so I'm sure I'm retaining more water now that I'm off that pill.

I've started swimming laps twice a week :) I'm having trouble getting going in the morning but I've put morning swims on my calendar for Tues/Wed mornings each next week.

I think you're probably just being unrealistic with your personal rate of loss, and need to accept that you'll get there - it might just take you longer.
The only comment I have is, are you eating too many carbs? 700 calories and being a little low on protein points either to a lot of veggies or a lot of carbs (unless your protein goal is high?). I can get in 90g+ of protein in 700 calories these days.
My meals are pretty much ALL just a meat (2-2.5oz) and a veggie (1oz), or a meat (2-2.5oz) and cheese (.5oz).

Yes, too many carbs. Not horrible carbs, like today I ate half an apple. I am generally able to avoid junk food carbs and usually my sugar is low, but fresh fruit and various veggies have been hard for me to quit. Also things like beans that are technically protein foods but still have significant carbs. It's so weird how what qualifies as "healthy food" changes post surgery!!!!
I will eat pineapple and watermelon, both foods my NUT recommended to me to increase my fluid intake. I don't eat a ton of either, but they're showing up weekly in my food diary.
