Hello everyone, I am 4 days postop and doing great!

I had my surgery on Friday at Toronto Western Hospital with Dr. Timothy Jackson and everything went perfectly he was very happy and said he expects but I will have great results.

I've never taken so many pills in my life between the medications and the vitamins but I've made a chart to help me to keep on track with everything so that's working out OK. I'm slowly starting to get in all the food I need, as I don't have a lot of interest in it but I know that it's important in the healing so I really want to do everything I can to ensure the best recovery possible.

including the weight I lost before hand and while on Optifast I'm already down 22 pounds which I'm pretty darn happy about. I plan on keeping this momentum going and doing all I can to make the most of my honeymoon phase.

I don't come on this board very often but when I do there's always great support here. Thank U all for that and I hope one day to be support others as I continue my journey

Congrats and Awesome!!!!!

It doesn't sound like you are having a problem getting the pills down...that's good. I struggled with that at the beginning.

Share your Menu if you have time. It's good for the newbies to see what and how much other posters are getting in.

Hi Roz,

Thanks for checking in. I'm doing well, no pain anymore.

Somedays I have a hard time getting in all that my centre suggests we do at this point (all liquids), but they said it is most important for me to get in the water, so I focus on that.

Incisions are much smaller than I thought, so thats good. And seem to be healing nicely.

Thanks again, hope all is well with you.
