"Light weight" is a term reserved for those with a BMI of less than 40. We typically have less weight to lose than others and therefore don't always lose as fast as others.

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Thank you, I suppose that does not apply to me :)

You are definitely a Lightweight!!!! Welcome to our Lightweight Board!!!! #1 WE DON'T CARE WHO JOINS US!!!!!!

#2 You can't go by your BMI because of everyone's height being different. I'm only 4'11 (maybe 10.5) my BMI is a lot higher than a taller person and losing 80 pounds took me from being obese to a normal BMi.

Come Join Us!!! We love new posters and we are here if you have questions or need support!!!

I'm a classic lightweight. I'm 4'11" and started out at just over 35 bmi. I had about 75 lbs to lose, and expect to settle in around 110-115 lbs when I reach maintenance.

Also -- my RNY surgery was May 16, 2016! Good date there. :)
