WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Good afternoon! Why is that I wake up early and then just nicely drift back to sleep right before the alarm goes off? Tired today. Running at lunch and have a session with personal trainer. She'll assess my progress over the last couple of months and modify my workout routine for the next couple of months. Actually looking forward to it, sort of!
A little higher (again) on the calories today but protein is high too so maybe that makes up for it!? So many different opinions every day and I appreciate them all, but sometimes I just get so confused.
B - 3 oz leftover steak with 1 egg (was going to leave out the egg and may yet if the steak fills me, but usually there is room down there)
S - 87 gr skyr yogurt with 3 oz fresh strawberries
L - 3 Farmboy carmelized onion/swiss meatballs
S - 4 slices deli turkey with mustard
D - shepperds pie (4 oz ground beef, 2 oz mashed taters) 2 tbsp. gravy
Total Cal 975, carbs 42, Protein 101
Happy Hump Day, all down hill here from noon on!
LWS....listen to Roz. She is a success. Wish I had stuck to plan like she does. I'm 8 1/2 years out and went astray. I'm feeling really good about what I'm doing now. Eating what others eat, just less, doesn't work. We need to follow a Bariatric plan.....IMO.
DH's favorite donut shop had their monthly special....buy 6 donuts and get 6 free. :( I told him to keep out what he wants for the next 2 days and the rest go in the freezer. Actually, I don't want any because I like what I'm doing now.
This morning I had my shake but by 9:00 I was hungry. I usually have a snack about 10:00 so I drank water and more water and before I knew it, it was 10:30. I had low sugar oatmeal with a little peanut butter.
Click shake (15g)
