WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them! LW's!!! 

 

Morning LW's!!  HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!  Turkey's in the oven, 2 pieces of pie are already missing...LOL, everything else is packed to go to DD#1's house.

Maintenance:  8+ years out 

Breakfast:  a few bites of raw stuffing

Protein:    Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Good morning Menu Gang,  Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Regular work day here in Canada!

B - pot roast

S - greek yogurt, 12 sour cream and onion Ritz cracker chips (I know bad idea)

L - chicken breast, cucumber slices

S - more pot roast

D - spag sauce with zoodles

This won't be enough food but so tired of planning I can't really think of anything else to add at the moment.

Totals Cal - 835, Protein 97, carbs 48

As I try to get back to my roots, I am tackling a food/behavior modification each week and adding to the week before.  Bringing hubby along with me, as he also has extra weight to lose and bad habits to break.

Week #1.  One day a month, we can choose to have a sweet desert, but it has to be something home made. 

 

The kids weren't here and we declined offers of Thanksgiving dinner as Friday is a workday for me.  It was easier to start this new lifestyle change with no temptations in the house.

 

B: protein coffee

S: light bread/toasted with 1TBsp peanut butter

L: roast beef

S: apple

D: protein coffee

S: lite and fit greek yogurt with fruit.

S: 4 oz wine

I know you didn't have the RNY but do you shake when you over do it on sugar?  It still doesn't take much for me to "dump".  I count it as a Blessing!
