WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Over the HUMP Day! I have been so worried about the 2 pounds that showed up on my scale that I didn't even realize that I was in "DIET" mode. Falling back into "learned" habits. What was I thinking?? As soon as I increased my Protein the scale started inching in the right direction.

Hi All
I'm going for a follow up with the neuro-surgeon about my feet, I had problems with them being numb and unable to bend up. Apparently the culprit was pinched nerves as a result of crossing my legs! They are much better now that I'm more conscience of not doing that, but a follow up is important anyway, right?!
Then off to work on this dismal Wednesday; good news is that tomorrow is the last day of the week for me as we get Friday off!

We finally went to bed around 1:30. DH was happy but I wasn't. My SIL is black and at the gas station two guys called him ****** and told him to be ready for deportation. It made me sick.
Sounds Good!

I'm so sorry, Roz. Give your SIL a hug for me too. I feel so bad for anyone targeted by any kind of willful hater.
