WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Good afternoon!! Weekends play havoc on me. I will almost be glad when camping season is over and I'm back to a regular routine....almost. I just don't eat enough on the weekends, its not that I eat badly.
Anyway, holding on to the 199.2
Time Since RNY 5-1/2 months
Not thrilled with the stats today, but its the best I could come up with given my sluggish state yesterday. Back on track for the rest of the week, will do some prep work tonight.
B - premier protein shake
S - 4 oz spag sauce
L - bacon tomato sandwich on 35 calorie bread, 1 tbsp. light mayo
S - deli turkey and cheese string
D - 3 to 4 oz chicken boob, on baby spinach with goat cheese, and Light Poppyseed dressing
Totals - Cal 940, Carbs 70 (ugh), Protein 97
I've found that the less I eat the more chance the scale is going to go up. I have to get quite a bit of Protein in to get my scale to move in the right direction.
Other than the bread I don't see any bad carbs ....what are you saying "ugh" too?
Good Variety.

Not all carbs are bad and even your Protein drinks probably have some carbs in them. Enjoying a piece of bread once in awhile is perfectly OK. I never counted anything but Protein. I ate Saltine crackers at least once a day when I was losing with peanut butter, butter, Laughing Cow Lite Cheese Spread etc.

I NEVER Counted Calories and at almost 8 years out I still don't even look at them. My goal every day is to avoid carbs and eat as much Protein as I want. I've found numerous small meals "snacks" work best for me.

You must be such a hard worker. I've been watching our neighbors tomatoes and I don't think they have had a ripe one yet but they are getting close. I used to make spaghetti sauce but gave that up when the girls got married and I went back to work.
You and Tiki enjoy your show!!!
Sounds like a really good Protein day!!
